Boulder

I had told some of my friends that I was going to Boulder to rediscover my inner hippie. It really is a fun and quirky little town, nestled in the Rockies. Boulder is a college town, but is populated too by a good representation of aging hippies.

We are staying in a lovely bed-and-breakfast, the Bradley Boulder Inn, which we had discovered during our last trip to Colorado, three years ago. The Bradley is both elegant and friendly. We are immediately embraced (figuratively and literally) by several of our inn-mates who seem to just love our auras and great karma. It turns out that they are in town for a convention of purveyors of merchandise for new-age boutiques (aka hippie shops). That ‘s so Boulder!

Kinda like their karma as well.
