Utah is certainly a masterpiece of landscape design, with its sandy hills and splendid rock formations. The hills look carved, like immense sand castles. We can even imagine that there are carved turrets in the massive formations.
The striations in the rocks tell the history of these cliffs to those who are able to decipher them. Too bad I am not fluent in the language of the rocks. I have no doubt that the layers upon layers of differing colors and textures sandstone and shale, are telling the story of planet Earth.
